You can customize the CABC setting by navigating to Settings > System > Display > Brightness & color. The drop-down menu offers three options: Off, Always, and On Battery Only. For battery-powered devices, the default setting is On Battery Only.

Please note that the availability of CABC depends on the device manufacturer, so it may not be available on all laptops or 2-in-1 devices.
